Been a while...

Well life happened and I got busy. Been busy at work and trying to spend some more quality family time together. I wasn't visiting everyone's blog and I started to feel bad so I just stopped posting to the POTD. But hopefully I'll be around more. I have still been taking pictures. Sharing a few I took for fathers day and had framed. This was like pulling teeth to get ds to sit still and pose. I had to bribe him with ice cream, thing is he wants the ice cream first!! LOL!! Sorry I haven't been around and thanks for stopping by. I should be posting quite a few pictures over the next few days!! TFL!

I have been trying to post to 2 peas now for a few days and I am having technical difficulties- ugh!! Been a busy week here and hope to post some more pics over the weekend. I've been working on some creative self portraits lately. So I can finally say ds is pottytrained!! 100% no accidents for 2 weeks now. FINALLY!! He was in no hurry to use the potty, so we were working with him and it seems finally he wanted to. Sorry of course we have no natural light in our bathroom so I used my on board flash. I would love to get a few more creative ones. TFL!!

Fresh Strawberries....

This weekend we went to a local farm and picked some strawberries. AJ loves strawberries and had a blast helping me pick them!! I meant to post these last night but we had a power shortage in our subdivision and of course happened to be around the POTD time! TFL!!

A Day of fun!

I did take pictures of flowers today but they didn't come out the way I wanted so I will have to go back tomorrow and try again. Ds and I spent most of the day at home and then ran out to run some errands so we went to starbucks and the park (our military base had the wonderful idea of combining the two!) Oh yeah and Friday night I went to see Sex and the City and I LOVED it!! Of course I was a big fan of the show, have all of the seasons box set so I was thrilled to hear they were releasing the movie. I was not disappointed. TFL!!

I am loving this weeks theme!! I just love flowers and have really enjoyed using my extension tubes. Trying to step outside my box and be a little more creative with these. TFL!!

Bokehlicious!!

Um is that a word? LOL!! I have found that I am obsessed with Bokeh, especially since I know how to get it now. It was the first thing I noticed about these pictures. It was windy that day and they are not perfectly in focus but I still liked them dispite the imperfections. Also, trying the cross processed look again... pretty neat effect!! TFL!! (And thanks for all the comments yesterday. DS picked the flower for me and wanted to put it in my hair. Might have to try that one day, a close up.)

Jazz on the lawn...

Saturday night we went to Jazz on the lawn at our local winery. We love going out there and have since we first moved here 4 years ago. The wine is great! Of course I took my camera along for some pictures, which was tough because there were so many people. It is a big event here and they usually hold it twice a month through the summer. I can't wait til next month!! TFL!
