I croppped this quite a bit, darn still not in focus.

This one was also cropped quite a bit. I wish the reflection was a little more clear.

I always see such awesome water drops (PAT!) and have been lusting after them. Maybe once I get my extension tubes I can get some good ones. Soon, I think Im going to order them this weekend!!

These are great! The droplets look like diamonds! I am with you, lusting after Pat's drop reflection shots! Someday...
I think these are quite good--they're really tough to do without a macro. Pat is my water drop idol too.
I really like the last one! :)
These are very cool! You did a great job :)
I think these are great shots! I also like the third one.
I think these look great! The color of the leaf is such a great contrast to the water drops.
I think these are great!! I agree Pat's water drops are awesome! I think I need extension tubes too! Good for you for getting out there in the rain!
Pat's water drops are amazing but you have done a beautiful job with these photos, they are gorgeous! Truly!
The last shot is so nice and clear...
without a macro, the shot you are going after is difficult. MAke sure you use a tripod to help you.
Very cool!
Glad your son is feeling better - love your macro shots!! By the way, if you look at my blog, yesterday's post, I nominated you for an award... ;)
These are so interesting! That last one looks like a big tongue to me, LOL.
These are amazing shots. I've always wanted to try something like that. Very beautiful.
Order the tubes! We can have some grand macro parties on POTD! These are wonderful! You're motivating me to put down my laptop and head outside to see if I can find any fledgling plants or flowers to photograph.
Tera--Yea! Love the waterdrops on the hosta leaves. The third one particularly caught not only the drops, but the texture of the leaf as well. I think you are doing fine for shooting without extension tubes or a macro lens. Watch out--this can become addictive!
We all agree, Pat is the water droplet queen!! You did a great job. I know NOTHING about macro, so y'all are all an inspiration!
