The superhero returns!! This time he's a pirate!! Trying to stay on theme here, but as you can tell my subject isn't very willing. I took a few shots while he let me. I'm still getting a horrible color cast in the house with my camera, anyone have any tricks for that?! TFL!!

ooohh my dd is totally starting to do this too.....doesn't it drive you nuts? I just want her to be 'cooperative' and then I think about the 10,000 pics of her sitting on my hard drive....Hahaha

Do you do a custom white balance? It should help with color casting. I like the DOF in that second shot.

I also love the focus on the 2nd photo. Even though the hand is "out-of-focus", it really is the focal point of the composition and the "out-of-focus" adds to it! Very clever!

I have the same problem with the color cast. Which is why I love this site.
What a cute little pirate. And I "get the hand" all too often.
These are too sweet! Love the pirate.
Also- for cc- remember to watch your shutter speed. 1/13 handheld is going to give you "camera shake" or blurring. Try to keep it around 1/60 or higher.

I like the idea of custom white balance. Or maybe try adjusting hues or using a cooling filter in PS. I like the green beads on your superhero.
