1.6.08

So my goal this year is to take a photo everyday- no matter what it is. I was looking forward to practicing this weekend, I work full time and it's always dark by the time I get home. Our lighting must be awful cause I can't get a decent pic inside. Maybe if I'm good, I will get a speedlight soon ;)

Unfortunately my plans were ruined, here's our lovely day!
Photobucket
Settings: manual 50mm f/6.3, ISO 100, ss 1/80
I like the raindrops though and the headlight bokeh :)

I really like the composition of this shot and the fact that you can only really see the raindrops where you can see the mirror through the window. Really cool!

Good for you for taking a picture in the bad weather. These are the ones that end up being fun to look back on at the end of the year! :)

I'm in the same boat - I have to wait for weekends too! DD and I got outside before the rain hit us. I like that you can see the raindrops in this.

Yep, we had the same weather, too. Way to be creative! Nice focus on the drops on the window.

i really like this picture. It's so strange that most of us are in the same country. It was 80 degrees, we were at the park in shorts today!

Aww, that stinks! Good for you for taking a shot anyway! Your photo definitely evokes a gloomy mood to me- I hope tomorrow is brighter!

I like the raindrops spitting off the mirror and the color of the mirror itself. It is hard some days when weather and other factors don't cooperate, but neat that you made the most of what you had. I think it is an interesting picture that captures the mood nicely.

I like this shot!!! I hate when it's dark by the time you get home...and if you are like me there is only ONE good window for lighting to come in in my entire house (not a big house mind you) and so if I want a decent picture indoors I HAVE to use flash...or it's terrible..I want a speed light too! I love the raindrop/sideview mirror take though....fun!
